Covid - 19 Policy

As at April, 2021, and in line with advice from the Victorian Chief Health Officer and the Australian Psychological Society, the use of masks is no longer compulsory during consultations between psychologists and their patients.  If for any reason you would prefer to wear a mask yourself during in-person consultations, please do not hesitate to do so.  Should you prefer that I also wear a mask, please discuss this with me at any time.

If and as health advice changes, I will advise patients of the need to reinstate the use of masks in face-to-face sessions, or adopt telehealth sessions as needed.

Hand sanitiser is provided in consulting rooms, the waiting room and other areas as needed. Handwashing facilities are also available.

I am also concerned to ensure the safety of the people I see, your families and the community.  In line with recommendations from the Australian Government and Victorian Department of Health & Human Services, please do not attend an in-person consultation if either yourself or your child(ren):

  • are unwell with cold or flu-like symptoms

  • are awaiting results from a COVID-19 test

  • have been in contact with a person (within the past 14 days) diagnosed with COVID-19

  • have visited an identified "red zone" location within the past 14 days

Should any of these apply to you or your child, please call me 0425 858 600 and I can arrange for your consultation to take place via telehealth.
