Get to Know Me

I am a clinical psychologist with over 25 years experience working in mental health, government, non-government, regulatory, private, academic and secondary school educational settings. I am a registered psychologist and hold endorsement in the practice area of clinical psychology with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

I have extensive experience in the assessment and treatment of children and young people with a range of complex psychological difficulties, including:

mood and anxiety disorders

social difficulties

relationship challenges

family related concerns

academic and cognitive difficulties

attention deficit hyperactive disorder

the impact of traumatic events

emotional and/or behavioral disturbance

risk-taking behaviours

identity challenges

I also work with adults who may experience a range of difficulties, some of which may include challenges associated with:

emotional and social functioning

work related stress

adjustment following a stressful event

past trauma

grief and loss

relationships with others

life transitions

I have a particular interest in assisting those considering or undergoing fertility treatment via IVF to navigate their emotional journey through this process. I can also assist parents of donor conceived children prepare for their unique parenting journey, and assist them facilitate their child's understanding of their genetic history and support their developing identity. I am also able to conduct independent psychological assessments for the Patient Review Panel where an applicant(s) is seeking approval of surrogacy arrangements in the state of Victoria.
